Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
Main Duties
- Scrubbing for all specialities in the Emergency Theatre and the new procedure room
- Running in the theatre
- Working night duties and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the assessment of care needs, planning, delivering and evaluating a high standard of nursing/practitioner care
- Contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department
- Ensuring the administration and documentation of drugs is in accordance with Trust policy
Person Specification
- First level registration with the NMC
- ODP registration
- Evidence of professional development
