Job Title: Commercial Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team at Adarma Limited. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support to our sales team, ensuring that our commercial contracts are negotiated and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and Negotiate Commercial Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating multiple commercial contracts, including master services agreements, framework agreements, statements of work, software and licensing agreements, and managed service outsourcing agreements.
  • Identify and Mitigate Legal Risks: You will identify important legal risks and advise on their possible effects for the business, ensuring that our commercial activities are conducted in a compliant and risk-free manner.
  • Contractual Documentation: You will help update and improve our existing contractual documentation, ensuring that it is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with our business needs.
  • Legal and Governance Framework: You will assist in creating an appropriate legal and governance framework for the business, establishing procedures to ensure legal best practices.
  • Legal Advice and Support: You will provide legal advice to our managed service and security consulting departments, as well as our other internal support departments, such as Sales, Finance, HR, and Marketing.
  • Insurance Renewals: You will support the renewal of insurance policies and ensure agreement to contractual obligations.
Requirements:
  • Legally Qualified Solicitor: You must be a legally qualified solicitor with experience negotiating commercial contracts and technology agreements, gained either in an established in-house legal team or a private practice firm.
  • Data Protection and Intellectual Property Law: Knowledge of data protection law, intellectual property law, and corporate law would be desirable.
