Senior Legal Counsel - Products and Regulatory

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Edinburgh, Alderley Edge, or London offices. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support in relation to our products and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and support in relation to product and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents.
  • Develop legal strategies and provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks, identify potential issues, and provide proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisors, as necessary, and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making processes, provide legal advice on business initiatives, and help drive overall business goals.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor from a Common Law jurisdiction who holds a current practising certificate. You will have practical experience covering a wide range of legal matters with a strong understanding of commercial and legal issues associated with pension products, with experience advising on protection and savings products and on regulatory matters also desirable.
