Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plaster Technician to provide high-quality patient care in our Orthopaedic Outpatients department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in plaster techniques, including routine and complex casting, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Main Duties

Provide patient-centred casting for orthopaedic outpatients

Carry out a full range of plaster techniques, including specialist and synthetic casts, as well as resting and functional splinting

Support patients during cast application and removal, and provide advice on cast and splint care
