Job Title: Plaster Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plaster Technician to join our Orthopaedic Outpatients department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality plastering services to patients, including routine and complex casting, splinting, and bracing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centred casting services for orthopaedic outpatients
  • Carry out a full range of plaster techniques, including routine and complex casting, splinting, and bracing
  • Support patients during cast application and removal, and provide advice on cast care
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Plaster Technician and registered nurses to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Care certificate
  • BAO Registered Plaster Technician
  • Plaster room experience
  • Orthopaedic experience
