Main duties of the job

Provide patient centred casting for orthopaedicoutpatients

Carry out a full range of plaster techniquesboth routine and complex including specialist and synthetic casts as well asresting/functional splinting, casting bracing and focused rigidity casting

Be responsible for supporting the patientduring cast application and removal and will ensure patients are givenappropriate advice re care of their cast and splint

Have enhanced additional support from the SeniorPlaster Technician and registered Nurses
