Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plaster Technician to provide high-quality patient care in our Orthopaedic Outpatients department. As a Plaster Technician, you will be responsible for providing patient-centred casting services, including routine and complex plaster techniques.

Main Duties

  • Provide patient-centred casting services for orthopaedic outpatients
  • Carry out a full range of plaster techniques, including specialist and synthetic casts, as well as resting and functional splinting
  • Support patients during cast application and removal, and provide advice on cast and splint care
