About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Systems Validation Engineer to join our team in the Air Defence Domain. As an Integration and Systems Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of systems and validation of test activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with systems engineering teams and design teams to plan and execute trials, ensuring adequate data is acquired and design issues are resolved.
  2. Conduct post-trials data analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to inform future development.
  3. Design and execute laboratory-based functional integration trials and system trials, generating a range of electrical tests and software proving tests to meet Proving Requirements.
  4. Support Environmental Testing programmes, including BIT tests and collation of Trials conduct Reports.
  5. Monitor Non-Conformances within SAP and assist with lab management responsibilities, such as maintaining risk assessments, asset management, and lab safety.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of ground trials within compatibility testing labs and trials sites, supporting a broad-based Integration and System Validation Engineer/Proving Engineer role.

Requirements:
  • Experience in systems integration and knowledge of systems validation/test activities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with systems engineering teams and design teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and resolve design issues.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory-based environment, with experience in electrical tests and software proving tests.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
