About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Systems Validation Engineer to join our team in the Air Defence Domain. As an Integration and Systems Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth integration and validation of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with systems engineering teams and design teams to plan and execute trials, ensuring the acquisition of adequate trials data and the investigation and resolution of design issues.
  2. Conduct post-trials data analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to inform future system development.
  3. Design and execute laboratory-based functional integration trials and system trials, generating a range of electrical tests and software proving tests to meet Proving Requirements.
  4. Support Environmental Testing programmes, including BIT tests and the collation of Trials Conduct Reports.
  5. Participate in ground trials within compatibility testing labs and trials sites, monitoring Non-Conformances within SAP.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will assist with lab management responsibilities, including maintaining risk assessments, asset management, and lab safety.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in systems integration and knowledge of systems validation/test activities.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
