Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Disabilities Specialist to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and will be able to develop and implement effective support plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Developing and implementing person-centered support plans
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach
  • Providing guidance and support to individuals and their families
  • Maintaining accurate case records

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £30 per hour
