Job Overview:

We are seeking a Learning Disability Assistant to join our team at a secondary SEN school in the Trafford area of Manchester. As a Learning Disability Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with learning disabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment, and/or Mental Health difficulties.

About the Role:

  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support students with a range of special educational needs like ASD, PMLD, SPLD, Cerebral Palsy, personal care etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs is essential.
  • A relevant qualification in education or special needs support (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) is desirable.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £15000 - £20000, depending on experience.
