About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As the Head of Medical Workforce Planning, you will play a crucial role in delivering the key aspects of the Consultant and SAS doctor terms and conditions, as well as other responsibilities within the Chief Medical Officer's portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver projects related to job planning and medical workforce management;
  • Support the lead for job planning in achieving their objectives and coordinating reports and evidence of performance against key performance indicators;
  • Organize and service training and workshops associated with job planning and provide support to the lead for job planning in delivering a robust appeals and mediation process;
  • Collaborate with medical staff to achieve the requirements of appraisal and revalidation and job planning;
  • Provide administrative support to the lead for job planning and contribute to the effective running of the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading the delivery of improvement projects and audits;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Proven project management skills and delivery of change/improvement;
  • Competent with word processors, spreadsheet software, and other tools to support business activities;
  • Skilled negotiator with attention to detail and ability to extract key information from complex analysis;
  • Administrative skills associated with project management and support;
  • Events management and capable of anticipating the need for business change in response to contemporary guidance or reports from local/national/regulator bodies.
