We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Planning Manager to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Chief Medical Officers team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the key aspects of the Consultant and SAS doctor terms and conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Job Planning Cycle Delivery: Enable the delivery of the Trust's job planning cycle, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Project Development and Delivery: Develop, initiate, and deliver projects related to job planning, driving strategic objectives and contributing to the organization's success.
- Support and Coordination: Support the lead for job planning in achieving their objectives, coordinating reports, and providing evidence of current and projected performance against key performance indicators.
- Medical Staff Support: Assist medical staff in achieving the requirements of appraisal and revalidation, job planning, and other related tasks.
- Training and Workshops: Organize and service training and workshops associated with job planning, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Appeals and Mediation Process: Provide support to the lead for job planning in delivering a robust appeals and mediation process for job planning.
- Experience: Proven experience in leading the delivery of improvement projects, audits, and assurance frameworks to support outcomes.
- Skills: Excellent project management skills, competent with word processors, spreadsheet software, and other tools to support business activities.
- Knowledge: Understanding of contractual obligations for medical staff, employee-based awards processes, and change/improvement methodologies.
- Qualifications: Educated to a degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience working in a specialist area.
