We are seeking a senior and experienced OD professional to lead our cultural transformation programme, Kent2030, and establish strategic workforce planning and talent management processes to attract, retain, and develop diverse talents across the University.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Diagnosing cultural barriers to organisational vision and objectives, and developing practical strategies to address these issues;
  2. Developing and implementing talent and succession planning strategies, policies, and programmes to support organisational values and objectives;
  3. Developing a strategic approach to workforce planning and resourcing to ensure the University workforce has the capabilities required to meet current and future organisational needs;
  4. Leading on promoting equality in the University's culture, policies, and practices, and supporting the implementation of equality frameworks and objectives.

What we are looking for:

  1. A CIPD membership and significant post-qualification experience, such as MCIPD or a Masters-level qualification in Human Resources Management or Organisational Development;
  2. A track record of developing organisational development strategies and programmes that are context-specific and match OD practice to business needs;
  3. Experience in workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and staff resourcing.
