About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Apprentice Senior Sous Chef. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen management systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to prepare and deliver large functions and events
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Training and Development

As part of our culinary leadership development program, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including workshops and coaching sessions with industry experts. You will also have the opportunity to work with our training partners, HIT Training, to develop your skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a kitchen management role
  • At least 6 hours per week in paid hours to complete off-the-job training
  • Availability to attend training sessions at our Chef Academy every 4-6 weeks
