Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Volvo Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting the sale of Workshop Services and Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be the primary point of contact for customers, providing a professional and helpful service to ensure their needs are met.
- To identify service parts requirements and assist in preparing the necessary depot actions to meet those customer requirements.
- To carry out the Service Department's invoicing and administration systems efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.
- To greet customers in a courteous manner, interpret their requirements, and complete the necessary paperwork to enable work to be undertaken.
- To effectively monitor the Work In Progress (WIP) reports to clear Workshop instructions as soon as possible, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- To liaise with the Workshop Foreman to maximize Workshop loading, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- To inform customers of completion times and payment methods, providing clear and concise information.
- To contact customers to inform them of any additional work required and issue accurate quotations to gain the necessary authority to complete the work.
- To ensure all customer complaints are courteously and efficiently handled and processed, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- To assist the Dealer Point Manager in invoice query resolution and debt recovery, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer queries.
- To have regard for any quality controls operated within the Service Department, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- To assist in the management and arrangement of customer vehicle workshop bookings for inspections, servicing, and repairs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- To ensure customer satisfaction at all times through delivery of the company's 'customer commitments', providing a high level of service and support.
Requirements:
- Familiarization of booking times and relevant systems relating to the Service Department, including changes and ongoing developments.
- To understand relevant systems relating to the Service Department, including changes and ongoing developments with familiarization of vehicle parts.
- To keep up to date with product development by reading relevant information and technical notes issued.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent IT knowledge, with the ability to learn and use in-house systems.
- Confidence and upselling skills, with the ability to promote Workshop Services and Products to customers.
- Customer focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and support.
