Service Advisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Renault Truck Commercials. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting the sale of Workshop Services and Products, and ensuring all customers are dealt with in a professional and helpful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify service parts requirements and assist in preparing the necessary depot actions to meet customer needs.
- Carry out invoicing and administration tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) reports to clear Workshop instructions as soon as possible, maximizing efficiency and profitability.
- Liaise with the Workshop Foreman to ensure optimal Workshop loading and efficiency.
- Inform customers of completion times and payment methods, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
- Contact customers to inform them of any additional work required and issue accurate quotations to gain the necessary authority to complete the work.
- Ensure all customer complaints are handled courteously and efficiently, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist the Dealer Point Manager in invoice query resolution and debt recovery, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Have regard for quality controls operated within the Service Department, ensuring adherence to high standards.
- Assist in the management and arrangement of customer vehicle workshop bookings for inspections, servicing, and repairs, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times through delivery of the company's 'customer commitments', promoting a positive and professional image.
Requirements:
- Familiarisation of booking times and relevant systems relating to the Service Department.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Good IT knowledge, with the ability to learn and adapt to in-house systems.
- Confidence, upselling skills, and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
