Job Description

Coptic Orphans is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth in your designated region through effective fundraising and donor cultivation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising and Donor Cultivation
    • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve annual revenue targets.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, identifying new opportunities for growth and engagement.
    • Identify and pursue new donor prospects, leveraging the organization's CRM resources to inform and optimize outreach efforts.
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Assist in planning and executing major fundraising events, including galas, dinners, and other high-profile events.
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote sponsorships and secure donations from event attendees.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and disseminate regular reports on fundraising progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Country Director and leadership team, to ensure alignment and support.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and inspire a team of Donor Relations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of fundraising and donor cultivation efforts.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
    • 5-7 years of experience in fundraising, customer relations, and/or sales.
    • 5 years of leadership and team management experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exceptional ability to think critically, analytically, and strategically.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with database or contact management software, such as Salesforce.
Travel Requirements

This role requires in-country travel and international travel, estimated at 15% of the time.
