We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team at Underley Garden School, a specialist education and care provider for individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As a Senior Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the occupants in their daily lives and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to occupants, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Develop and lead a skilled and knowledgeable team of support workers
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the provision of safe and effective care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on occupants' progress and well-being

Salary: Up to £35,500 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in payments)

Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 2-week shift rota

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential setting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
