As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our homes, implementing policies and procedures, maintaining records, and fostering the growth and development of junior staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to step up to a Team Leader position and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in managing the daily operations of the home
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Foster the growth and development of junior staff members

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £13 to £14.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive sleep-in pay of £60 per night and overtime paid at £1 extra. A full UK driving licence and Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent are required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have at least one year of experience in residential childcare and hold a valid full UK driving licence. A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent is also essential.
