Drive Customer Success with AWS Data Analytics Solutions

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Consultant to join our AWS Professional Services team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with customers and partners on high-profile engagements, applying your technical expertise to solve complex customer challenges.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud-based data analytics solutions, leveraging services like Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, and Apache Spark. You will guide customers through transforming their businesses using cloud technologies, cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that deliver end-to-end applications and infrastructure solutions.

This role has up to 100% travel associated, working from customer sites throughout the UK, particularly in the greater London area and Kent. Our team members engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base.

About the Team

AWS ProServe is obsessed about customer success, collaborating across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, drive feature innovation based upon customer needs, and create reusable collateral like white papers, blogs, demos, and other resources.

You will work closely with our Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Service Engineering teams, contributing to projects that leverage machine learning concepts, data science/analytics pipelines, and scalable, high-performance cloud software services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in data platform implementation and software development using languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Hands-on experience building data or machine learning pipelines, and familiarity with machine learning concepts
  • Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data science/analytics projects and machine learning infrastructure
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services like Kinesis, and big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
  • Experience developing scalable, high-performance cloud software services
  • AWS Certification(s), such as Solutions Architect Associate and/or Data Analytics Specialty
