Civil Engineering Project Supervisor Opportunity in North Wales

Griffiths, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Bangor, Gwynedd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the works of skilled operatives on site and contributing to the safe delivery of projects across the North Wales region.

The RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor who possesses excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of construction site management practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing Health and Safety leadership to the site delivery team and promoting behavioural safety improvements
- Ensuring policies and procedures are fully discharged within your area of responsibility
- Supporting the Project Management team with the safe operational delivery of projects
- Ensuring site supervision and work teams are well-organised and motivated to meet programme milestones
- Arranging and managing operational resourcing for assigned projects
- Supporting the development of safe systems of works with the rail planning team
- Complying with project documentation, applicable legislation, and company standards
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- CITB SMSTS Certification
- Relevant CSCS card
- Emergency First Aid certificate
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Construction Site Management or similar qualification
- Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) certification
- CPCS (Plant Operator tickets) or equivalent
