Urology Specialty Doctor (Specialty Doctor) - Urology

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, the largest health organisation in Wales, is seeking a highly skilled Urology Specialty Doctor for a 12-month fixed-term position based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, North Wales.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive urological services to the counties of Gwynedd and Anglesey. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, staying up-to-date with national guidelines and best practices.

The role involves participating in general urology outpatient clinics, managing one-stop ambulatory services, including Haematuria, PSA clinics, and LUTS clinics. Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in diagnostic Urodynamics and the erectile dysfunction clinic, depending on your experience.

Your responsibilities will also include providing day-to-day clinical supervision to junior medical and nursing staff, as well as auditing clinical activities and contributing to evidence-based medicine and clinical governance.
