Clinical Diabetes Care Specialist

Evolve Selection is supporting a leading healthcare organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality patient care across the UK.
We are recruiting Diabetes Specialist Nurses to join their team, commencing in January and February 2025. The primary goal is to deliver exceptional care to patients in Primary Care settings, improving outcomes and quality of life nationwide.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, proactive in identifying sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes patients, optimising oral therapy, conducting point-of-care testing, and referring specialist insulin treatment when necessary. Additionally, they will exercise corporate nursing responsibilities effectively.
As a field-based position, travelling to different locations is required; hence, a full driving license and willingness to travel are essential. This is a permanent role, working full-time (standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm), but part-time hours may be considered if needed (4 days per week).

Ideal Requirements:
- Current NMC registration and at least 3 years' experience in managing diabetes within Primary Care.
- Strong knowledge and confidence in providing education, support, and advice to individuals with Type 2 Diabetes.
- Proficiency in IT, including Primary Care systems.
- Full driving licence.
Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
