Workforce Planning Manager

Join Corndel College London (CCL) as a Workforce Planning Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of education. As a member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and allocating staff to deliver our programme schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive staff forecast and plan based on the programme schedule and business needs.
  • Support the Director of Operations with capacity planning requirements based on forecasting data and operational planning schedules.
  • Allocate staff to the programme schedule, taking into account their availability, skills, preferences, and development opportunities.
  • Identify and address any gaps, risks, or challenges in the staff plan and the schedule, and propose and implement solutions and improvements.
  • Conduct analysis on current workforce capability and develop a plan to meet policy and operational requirements.
Requirements:
  • A passion for continued professional and personal development and a desire to see others develop and succeed.
  • At least three years of experience in operational planning, staff scheduling, resource management, or a similar role, preferably in the higher education industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with data and complex information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with staff planning software is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, and able to cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
