Main Duties

As a member of our Intensive Care Unit team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of new clinical practices and protocols, as well as contributing to the education and training of junior staff.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine with an interest in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anaesthetics, with at least 8 years of experience in the specialty. They will also have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care, as well as experience in teaching and training junior staff.

The successful candidate will be required to have full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), or be eligible for registration within six months of interview. They will also be required to have a strong understanding of the latest clinical practices and protocols, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
