Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthesiologist to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As an Intensive Care Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership and expertise in the intensive care unit
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Medical Degree: MB ChB, MBBS
  • Specialist Registration: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), or eligible within six months
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in Anaesthetics, including at least 2 years in UK hospitals. At least 1 referee must be an Anaesthesia consultant

Desirable Qualifications

  • Higher Medical Degree: MD or MSc
  • Training: Six month advanced general training
  • Professional Development: Regular attendance at National Specialty meetings
