About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CDM/Disrepair Surveyor to join our team at Bromford. As a key player in our repairs team, you will be responsible for conducting building inspections, diagnosing issues, and devising repair solutions for customer property problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough building inspections to identify defects and potential hazards
  • Diagnose issues and develop effective repair solutions
  • Collaborate with legal teams and contractors to ensure repairs adhere to regulations
  • Assist in mitigating liability from legal claims
  • Provide expert witness testimony as required

Requirements

  • Extensive building surveying experience, particularly in disrepair and related legislation
  • Relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar)
  • Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations
  • Strong project management and budget control skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
