About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CDM/Disrepair Surveyor to join our team at Bromford. As a key player in our repairs team, you will be responsible for conducting building inspections, diagnosing issues, and devising repair solutions for customer property problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough building inspections to identify defects and potential hazards
- Diagnose issues and develop effective repair solutions
- Collaborate with legal teams and contractors to ensure repairs adhere to regulations
- Assist in mitigating liability from legal claims
- Provide expert witness testimony as required
Requirements
- Extensive building surveying experience, particularly in disrepair and related legislation
- Relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar)
- Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations
- Strong project management and budget control skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
