Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CDM Surveyor to join our team at Bromford. As a key player in our repairs team, you will be responsible for conducting building inspections, diagnosing issues, and devising repair solutions for customer property problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough building inspections to identify potential issues and develop effective repair solutions
  • Diagnosing complex property problems, particularly damp, condensation, and disrepair issues
  • Coordinating with legal teams and contractors to ensure repairs adhere to regulations and are completed on time
  • Compiling work schedules and assisting in mitigating liability from legal claims
  • Providing expert witness testimony and supporting the legal team in court proceedings

Requirements

  • Extensive building surveying experience, especially in disrepair and related legislation
  • Relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar)
  • Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations and experience liaising with legal teams
  • Strong project management and budget control skills
  • Collaborative team spirit and excellent communication abilities
