The vacancy
Join our repairs team as an experienced and qualified CDM/Disrepair Surveyor on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Your role will involve conducting building inspections, diagnosing issues, and devising repair solutions for customer property problems, particularly damp, condensation, and disrepair issues.
As a key player, you'll serve as an expert witness, coordinating with legal teams and contractors, compiling work schedules, ensuring repairs adhere to regulations, and assisting in mitigating liability from legal claims. Your technical prowess and meticulousness will enhance property safety and cost-effectiveness.
We're seeking candidates with:
️ Extensive building surveying experience, especially in disrepair and related legislation.
A relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar) (desirable).
Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations, coupled with experience liaising with legal teams.
Strong project management and budget control skills.
A collaborative team spirit and excellent communication abilities.
