Art Workshop Facilitator and Support Assistant

Are you passionate about art and creating memorable experiences? Join art-K, a leading private art education service, as a Self-Employed Party Assistant for its arty birthday parties during weekends. With over 100 parties delivered in recent months, we expect this number to grow in 2025. As a Self-Employed Party Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of each 2-hour birthday party session, including set up, workshops, and tidy up.
About the RoleYou will work closely with the Party Leader to create an ambient studio environment, set up music, and prepare projects tailored to the birthday person's requests. Your primary responsibility will be to support children to complete their art projects, offering guidance and encouragement while teaching them to explore their creativity.
The ideal candidate will have working experience with children from Year 1 (aged 5-6) and upwards, with sufficient knowledge in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay. Art A level and Foundation are desirable qualifications. A DBS check is required, which will be facilitated by art-K at no cost to the self-employed individual.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £38-£15 depending on the candidate's age, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation. Job Type: Part-time.
