Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Social Care Worker to join our team in Herefordshire. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in statutory social care, with strong report writing skills and experience of taking the stand and giving oral evidence.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside families to improve outcomes for their children, using a restorative approach to social work that reflects the team culture and senior management style.
- Collaborate closely with the Council's Legal Team to complete Court applications, with support available to help when needed.
The successful candidate will be dedicated to improving the lives of children and families within Herefordshire, working in a collaborative environment where discussion and support are valued.
Requirements- Fully qualified DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years experience in statutory social care.
- Strong report writing skills and experience of taking the stand and giving oral evidence.
In line with West Midlands MOU Rates, the salary for this role is £24.57 per hour, with an accommodation expense of £150 per week and mileage rate of 45p per mile.
