About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expertise to member firms on strategic approaches to meeting clients' business and technology needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and execute a demand generation strategy for a key industry market to drive pipeline and sales to agreed KPIs
  • Position and differentiate the Microsoft offerings through KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions in that industry
  • Generate pipeline and execute sales for the organization
  • Identify and develop opportunities for diversification across sub-industries, emerging technologies, and services propositions to build pipeline
  • Work with KPMG teams to create integrated propositions to meet specific industries or clients' needs
  • Lead the interlock with the delivery organization to ensure contracts are robust, sales teams support program delivery, and innovative commercial constructs are developed
Business Development Strategy:
  • Owning senior stakeholder relationships within key strategic accounts
  • Managing key relationships within the KPMG partner network to drive pipeline from within the firms' client base
  • Managing the relationship with key Microsoft stakeholders to develop co-selling opportunities
  • Leading key bids and proposals for large-scale transformation programs (typically in the £1-4m range)
  • Working as a trusted advisor with clients around their strategic business and technology needs
  • Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions policy
Requirements:
  • Highly experienced working in Microsoft solution sales
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft technology (particularly Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Azure)
  • Strong cross-industry experience (Public Sector, Financial Services, and Consumer Markets)
  • Experience working in partnership with Microsoft to develop business systems or cloud-based technology propositions to meet client needs
  • Demonstrable track record developing long-term profitable relationships with mid and large-sized organizations
  • Ability to develop a demand generation strategy for a Microsoft solution sales team and lead the team to successful execution
  • Leadership experience in Microsoft-centric transformation deals with values in excess of £2m
  • Experience developing front and back office transformation propositions using Microsoft technology
  • An extensive Microsoft network at sales level
  • Ability to create a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation
  • Collaborative ways of working with clients and various KPMG teams
  • Creative problem-solving ability while working in ambiguous situations
  • Experience anticipating others' viewpoints, listening, and addressing concerns
  • Building co-operative relationships and fostering an environment where everyone's opinion is valued
  • Providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to support individuals' development needs and career aspirations
  • Engaging in cross-functional communications and sharing information

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum
