Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, who require support with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including using hoists and wheelchairs
  • Administer medication, as required
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being
Requirements
  • Previous experience in care and support, preferably in a home care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' dignity and autonomy
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (for some roles)
