Cancer Therapy Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Educator to join our team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital Foundation Trust. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the delivery of practice and professional education and training for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies across the Trust.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of practice and professional education and training for SACT across the Trust in conjunction with Lead Chemotherapy Nurse and Lead Cancer Nurse.
This includes promoting a positive and creative culture of learning and staff development, providing consultancy support for managers and staff offering advice and guidance on education and training issues relating to SACT, reviewing local, regional or national guidance relating to best practice in professional and practice education, and working closely with educational leads and clinical leadership teams to maximise professional development.
Key Responsibilities- To lead in the delivery of practice and professional education and training for SACT across the Trust;
- To promote a positive and creative culture of learning and staff development;
- To provide consultancy support for managers and staff offering advice and guidance on education and training issues relating to SACT;
- To review local, regional or national guidance relating to best practice in professional and practice education;
- To work closely with educational leads and clinical leadership teams to maximise professional development.
We offer a competitive salary of £48,270 - £54,931 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including on-site parking, staff cafes, and career development opportunities.
