Cancer Psychologist Needed for HCA Cancer Network

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cancer Psychologist to join our team at HCA Cancer Network in London. As a Senior Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

About the Role

This is a part-time, 30-hour position covering four days a week. You will work closely with our Lead Psychologist and Head of Therapies to assess patients' psychological needs and develop effective treatment plans. Your expertise in psycho-oncology, end-of-life care, or bereavement experience will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patients' psychological needs and apply evidence-based treatments.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Requirements
  1. Registered Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  2. Knowledge of cancer management principles and current research in psycho-oncology.
  3. Experience in working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
