About the Role

The Clinical Practice Educator will play a key role in shaping the delivery of practice and professional education and training for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies across the Trust. This includes developing and delivering training programs, assessing learner competence, and supporting the development of knowledge and skills among staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with experience in mentoring and coaching others. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • To develop and deliver training programs for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies;
  • To assess learner competence and ensure that staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver safe and effective patient care;
  • To support the development of knowledge and skills among staff, including through mentoring and coaching;
  • To work closely with educational leads and clinical leadership teams to maximise professional development;
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to education and training.

We offer a competitive salary of £48,270 - £54,931 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including on-site parking, staff cafes, and career development opportunities.
