Job Description:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, promoting their development towards key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Promote and uphold child welfare, protection, health, and safety, as well as safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, happy, and safe environment that fosters growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Educator, or similar).
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills, utilizing various techniques to interact with children and adults.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
