Child Development Specialist

Salary: £28,823 - £36,350 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Description:
- Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, promoting their development towards key milestones.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Promote and uphold child welfare, protection, health, and safety, as well as safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, happy, and safe environment that fosters growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Educator, or similar).
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Effective communication skills, utilizing various techniques to interact with children and adults.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
