Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Distribution System Operator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing network capacity, forecasting demand, and developing strategic investment options to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze network infrastructure to identify opportunities for long-term planning and strategic investment.
  • Manage commercial and contractual relationships with the National Energy System Operator (NESO).
  • Drive innovative initiatives at the transmission-distribution interface to improve connections and efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Science.
  • A full valid UK driving license that allows you to drive in the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel within the role and throughout your rotations as required.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary of £34,895, plus a range of benefits, including:

  • A one-time bonus of £2,000 upon joining the program.
  • 26 days' annual leave.
  • A payment of £2,400 upon successful completion of the program.
  • A monthly accommodation allowance of up to £200.
