We're looking for ambitious graduates to join our Primary Network Design (PND) unit, designing the 132kV, 66kV, and 33kV distribution network system throughout National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED).

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the physical infrastructure needed to move electricity around the country
  2. Ensure compliance with Distribution Licence conditions
  3. Build connections into the network development, optioneering strategy
  4. Manage key relationships with Electricity System Operator (ESO) and National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Sciences degree discipline
  • Fully qualified UK driving license
  • Demonstrate the legal right to work in the UK for the duration of the graduate programme
