Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Youth Development Assistant to join our PEEER Youth service team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people living with a long-term health condition.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is expected to be around £29,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the role offers flexible working hours, home or remote working options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting young people living with a long-term health condition, including those with epilepsy, diabetes, and renal conditions
  • Working closely with families and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as medication management and appointment scheduling

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and healthcare professionals. A passion for youth work and a commitment to delivering high-quality care are essential for this rewarding role.
