About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at NHS England. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of bespoke Employability training and functional skills to interns
  • Maintain weekly individual records for each student that meet inspection requirements
  • Work closely with tutors to deliver SEN provision and support the development of social/emotional skills of students
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure the needs of students are met
Requirements
  • Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Experience of working in a classroom supporting students with SEN
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of special educational needs required for Choices College students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
