About the Role

You will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to identify the needs of students and develop strategies to support their engagement, attainment, and life chances. Your role will involve:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEN and SEMH challenges
  • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
  • Identifying and escalating risks and needs to ensure student safety and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to build confidence and motivation in students
  • Approachable and able to build robust and effective relationships with students
  • High levels of empathy, caring, and compassion
  • Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to work
