Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in an Outstanding Ofsted-rated Alternative Provision in Chesham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing tailored support to students who require additional help due to vulnerability or past trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behaviour
• Provide one-to-one and group support to students who need additional help
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students with complex needs

Requirements:

• Passion for working with teenagers, particularly those who are vulnerable or have experienced trauma
• Ability to build professional relationships with students and maintain clear boundaries
• Commitment to promoting emotional and academic development in students
