Job Description:

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient and nurturing support to children with complex learning difficulties.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and teachers, offering behavioural and emotional assistance.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored support for students with challenging behaviour.
  • Support SEN pupils in one-to-one, small group, and classroom settings, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Implement and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Bring creativity and innovation to lessons, making learning engaging and enjoyable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SEN and a passion for supporting student growth.
  • NVQ in Childcare and Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (unqualified candidates are also welcome to apply).
  • Experience in supporting the social and emotional development of children.
