Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our students at a secondary school in Chesham.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in achieving their full potential through motivation and guidance.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff on lesson planning and classroom activities to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain a supportive and productive classroom atmosphere by adhering to the school's behaviour code.
  • Address the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational requirements, by providing individualised support.

Requirements

  • A valid DBS check is required, and the ability to obtain one is essential.
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • Two years of employment references are required.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3-5 students is essential.
  • Ability to commute to and around Chesham as needed.
