Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the provision for students with SEN, developing and implementing effective strategies to support their diverse needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Provide training and support to staff on SEN best practices, promoting a culture of inclusivity and understanding within the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with SEN legislation and school policies, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognized SENCO qualification, demonstrating your expertise in SEN support and management.
  • Proven experience in a SENCO role or similar position, showcasing your ability to lead and manage SEN provision effectively.
