Job Title

We are seeking a Community Equipment Specialist to join our team at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the movement of equipment within the warehouse, decontaminating returned equipment, and loading/unloading equipment onto trust vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Equipment Movement: The successful candidate will be responsible for moving equipment within the warehouse, ensuring that it is stored safely and efficiently.
  • Decontamination: The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating all returned equipment according to trust policies and procedures.
  • Loading/Unloading: The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment onto trust vehicles following manual handling training.
  • Assisting Drivers: The successful candidate will assist drivers with deliveries and collections of equipment.
  • Warehouse Duties: The successful candidate will undertake general warehouse and storekeeping duties including stock takes of equipment.

Requirements
  • Manual Handling Training: The successful candidate must possess manual handling training.
  • Team Player: The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Heavy Loads: The successful candidate must be able to work with other drivers on heavy and awkward loads.
  • Public Interaction: The successful candidate must have experience of working with the public.
  • Stores Experience: The successful candidate must have experience of working in a stores environment with NHS & Social Services equipment or equivalent.
  • Fitting/Assembling: The successful candidate must have experience of fitting and assembling equipment.
  • Cleaning Equipment: The successful candidate must have experience of cleaning equipment.

Salary: £23,615 per annum.
