About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Plan Coordinator to join our team in Southwark. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and review of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate the EHC assessment process and ensure timely completion of assessments.
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure that the child's needs are met.
  • To contribute to the development of strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
  • To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams to provide support and guidance to parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as education, social work, or psychology.
  • Proven experience of working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £41,580 - £47,628 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and training opportunities.
