Job Title: Clinical Skills Facilitator - Respiratory Support Skills

Job Summary:

Rainbows, a leading children's hospice in the East Midlands, is seeking a skilled Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our team. As a Respiratory Support Skills Educator, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering training programs for our care team to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for care team members on respiratory support skills and invasive ventilation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement education and training agendas.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to care team members to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to respiratory care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or qualified Physiotherapist with experience in complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation.
  • Proven track record of delivering education and training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
